Delivering up Reliable Filtration

Beacon Water Technologies recently commissioned two GDisk® pile cloth media filters to replace the previous disc microstrainers used to provide tertiary treatment at the Pine Island Water Reclamation Facility, a Lee County (FL) Utilities plant.  Prior to replacement, the old units frequently clogged, backwashed continually, and failed mechanically, which resulted in reduced filtration capacity and quality as well as repetitive corrective maintenance.
